Professor George Oduro Nkansah leads Flora and Fauna Development Initiatives at Ecozak Africa, where he steers the integration of scientific innovation and indigenous knowledge to advance biodiversity conservation and regenerative agriculture across the continent.
He is also an accomplished Associate Professor of Crop Science and Plant Physiology at the University of Ghana, with over two decades of expertise in greenhouse vegetable production, hydroponics, organic nutrient management, and climate-resilient agronomic systems. He holds a PhD in Plant Physiology from Chiba University, Japan.
His pioneering research has significantly advanced sustainable crop production in tropical agro-ecologies, with notable contributions in heat-tolerant cultivars, hydroponic tomato systems, and rootstock grafting for yield resilience. Widely published and internationally respected, Professor Nkansah’s work bridges modern agritech with ecological sustainability, aligning seamlessly with Ecozak Africa’s mission to deliver nature-positive, climate-smart solutions that restore ecosystems, empower communities, and secure sustainable livelihoods across Africa.
